Toy Party
The Community Welcome House has been selected as one of the beneficiaries for the Toy Party and Silent Auction presented by For the Kid. This Holidy Cocktail Party and Toy Drive Event will be held on December 7th, 2008 from 5:30pm - 9:00pm at the AmericasMart 3. Holiday cocktail attire suggested, complimentary food & beverage.

Chinese New Year on Jan. 31st
Saturday, January 31st, 2009, Community Welcome House in collaboration with Shiloh Church would like to host a celebration of the Chinese New Year on the Court Square with entertainment in the format of bands, at the new Park Pavilion on Greenville ST. This event will be held from 12:00noon until 8:00pm. It will be orderly and well organized. This event is going to be a celebration for the survivors of family violence in our community. As you are aware, family violence crosses all boundaries, it recognizes everyone. The Chinese Community is a presence in our community. They came to me with this wonderful idea. I hope the council is in agreement. I look forward to working with you on this project. We will advise you of all areas of representation.
Coweta Dancing Stars
Come out and join us on April 18th at 8:00 at the Newnan High School Max Bass Gym for a night out with Coweta’s Dancing Stars to benefit the Community Welcome House. The Welcome House is a transitional facility which provides shelter for families in need. They assist their residents with room and board, food, medical care, child care, counseling, and much more.
